Aquarius Spectrum represents cutting-edge technology that enhances the resilience of water utilities’ infrastructure, both new and aging, by precisely locating leaks and identifying sections of pipes in need of renewal.
Aquarius is a distinctive platform integrating highly sensitive sensors driven by sophisticated algorithms, extensive data analytics, and advanced connectivity through LTE Cat-M1/NB-IoT. The patented fixed acoustic leak detection sensors within the Aquarius system facilitate daily water network monitoring, strategically placed on fire hydrants or inside valves along the pipeline.
These fixed sensors capture a 20-second sample each night, transmitting the data to a server for analysis and automatic correlation between sensor pairs. The choice of sensor is determined by factors such as pipe material, diameter, and the installation point. In scenarios involving mixed pipe materials and diameters, a combination of vibration, hydrophone, and multi-sensors can be deployed to comprehensively monitor the network, detecting even small leaks below background noise.
